RSPCA NSW feels the love at the New Year’s Eve Charity Performance!
When he’s not on-stage wowing audiences in The Wizard of Oz, our canine star Toto has been winning hearts at RSPCA NSW.
An allocation of tickets to our New Year’s Eve performance were sold exclusively to support our Official Charity Partner, RSPCA NSW. The entire RSPCA allocation sold-out over a week in advance raising a massive $27,437.12 for RSPCA NSW. The New Year’s Eve event was bursting with enthusiastic attendees who not only got to cherish the musical but assist in supporting a very worthy cause. With RSPCA NSW relying almost entirely on the goodwill of loyal supporters, all proceeds raised were transferred directly to the organisation to help in treating, rehabilitating and caring for the tens of thousands of animals RSPCA NSW aids.
RSPCA NSW CEO, Steve Coleman charmed the audience as he accepted the cheque from The Wizard of Oz Co-Producer, Suzanne Jones. Mr Coleman said he was ‘humbled and delighted’ with the support received as he was treated to a special meet and greet backstage with Trouble and Flick who jointly share the role of Toto.
To raise more funds for RSPCA NSW, Toto will be holding bucket collections at the Sydney shows on the weekend of the 27 and 28 January.
Get your tickets for our bucket collection weekend now so you are there to help Toto find forever homes for his friends. After all, there’s no place like home!
