Tonight’s grand finale of Over the Rainbow on BBC ONE saw Danielle triumph in the public vote and win the role of Dorothy in the new West End production of The Wizard of Oz. One year old Mini Schnauzer Dave pawed the coveted Toto role.

The charity single will be available to download from midnight Sunday 23rd May and all proceeds will be split equally between two very worthwhile charities: Prostate UK and The BBC Performing Arts Fund.

Following the success of How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria?, Any Dream Will Do and I’d Do Anything, Over the Rainbow reunites host Graham Norton and Andrew Lloyd Webber, who are joined by a new panel of experts to choose a Dorothy to perform in the West End production of The Wizard of Oz next year.
