Training: Matthew trained at Doreen Bird College of Performing Arts in all aspects of musical theatre.

Theatre includes: Swing and understudy Herman in Sweet Charity (Haymarket), swing in Mary Poppins (UK tour and television event in Holland), Steve/Mr Grey and others in Rent (Garrick), Goody and first cover Joe Vegas in Fame (European tour), Tom Hart in From the Hart (New End), Euphemus in the workshop of Jason and the Argonauts (New Players), ensemble in Miss Saigon (UK tour) and ensemble in Grease (Pattichoun Amphitheatre, Cyprus).

Concerts include: Broadway and Beyond (UK tour), The 12 Irish Tenors (European tour, Dubai and Norway), The Twelve Days of Christmas (Tilbury Docks), Hey, Mr Producer! (NCL Sky) and Music of the Night – The Music of Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber (NCL Star), Encore! Mr Producer (NCL Sun), Merlin the Narrator in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (Cresset, Peterborough) and Lee in Here and Now (Steps tribute group, Weymouth Pavilion).
