In rehearsal for Children in Need

Yesterday we joined Wizard of Oz Resident Director Kate Golledge at Pineaple Dance Studios in London’s West End for a sneak peek into the company’s rehearsals ahead of this Friday’s live performance on BBC Children in Need.

Watch the video below to see choreographer Arlene Phillips and members of the Wizard of Oz cast including Michael Crawford, Danielle Hope, Emily Tierney, Edward Baker-Duly and Paul Keating rehearse a medley of songs from the show. The Wizard of Oz cast will be opening the first Children in Need broadcast from 7.30pm this Friday 18th November before returning to the London Palladium for an 8pm start to the show.

This is Fab. I will be tuning in and hope we get to see it up here in
the “TV. Sticks” called Scotland. Honestl,y sometimes we do miss some of the best stuff on Children in need night coz we have our own regional programme, sorry but it’s true. My bestest buddie is in this clip but he Always seems to be behind someone, miss you lots, lol. luv’n'hugz, xxxxx
