  1. Susan Fielding says:

I was lucky enough to see the show on it’s opening night, and what a night. I have to be honest, I do not like the original film The Wizard of Oz, and I did only go to see it because Michael Crawford was in it, but I am so pleased I have seen it and can’t wait to see it again.
The stage & effects were brilliant, the music & lyrics were clever & funny and the cast were exceptional, especially the westies that played Toto.(I’m a westie owner so I’m a little biased) Danielle Hope was made for the role of Dorothy, she has such a great voice, you would think she has been in London’s west end for years. Michael Crawford, where do I start? he is so talented and puts everything into his roles. His voice is exceptional, pitch perfect and powerful. Along with that, I could see a glimpse of P T Barnum in his performance. I don’t want to forget the remaining cast members, as they all added to this enjoyable evening, they were all fantastic. Lets hope this show runs for a very long time.
